About me

I’m a Research Associate at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology where I lead the Seabird Conservation Analytics Team (SCAT team). We’re using new technologies such as fecal DNA metabarcoding, UAVs and tracking devices to monitor seabird populations around the world.

My work has taken me to some fantastic places, including nine trips to Antarctica so far. I am equally at home on remote offshore islands, in the lab, or analysing complex datasets using bioinformatic tools.
